Spotlight on a New CHAMPION: GracePoint Church

spotlight.compOur name Champion Responders has a double meaning. Not only are first responders, themselves, champions, but we exist to champion (protect, uphold, fight or advocate for) their needs and heroic deeds.

Today we want to introduce a champion who is partnering with us to broaden their current support of Coppell’s brave men and women in the Fire Service to include long term mental resilience.

GRACEPOINT CHURCH

GracePoint Church is a community leader when it comes to caring for Coppell trauma victims. Members of the church have a goal to be first on the scene with supplies and support for victims AND for  emergency workers, as well as ongoing support afterwards, when needed. It’s just one way they’re living out one of the 5 tenets of their mission: Connecting with one another and with the community.

Even before our “IPO” launch,* GracePoint generously donated an office for Champion Responders (in nearby property they own) and committed to a monthly financial gift of $500 through at least 2015. Through Steve’s connection with the Fire Department, they have asked to be contacted about any emergency need in the community.

We’re proud to partner with GracePoint on a community level! Join us in thanking these community champions!

*Our “IPO” – or Initial Partnership Offering is our a launch campaign with a $10,000 matching offer from a devoted supporter of the ministry. We’re still accepting one-time offers and ongoing month support in any amount from individuals, churches, or organizations that feel indebted to help the First Responders in our communities. We’ll bring you up-to-date on the campaign response soon.
